BLOG 6 - Guantanamo Bay. Position Paper
My topic for the position paper is discussing whether the United States should close the detention center Guantanamo Bay down. This is an issue are the prisoners remaining there are extremely dangerous and some people are scared to put them in maximum security prisons in the United States. I chose this topic as it is an interesting current event and there is a lot of information to talk about regarding the future of Guantanamo Bay. President Obama promised to shut it down in the near future, but it is not clear to all if this is the best option.

An interesting topic. A student last semester wrote, not specifically about Guantanamo, but about methods of torture used on prisoners. If you are interested in taking a look, let me know, and I will post it for you.
