I have not had a paper workshopped yet, however I plan to for the next paper. Reading other papers has been extremely beneficial to me as it helps me understand other people's expectations of what and how to write for each paper. I think I have a solid, structured writing style however I sometimes do not apply my writing directly to the question; so reading other classmates papers is useful to see what I am doing correctly and incorrectly. The most useful parts of the process I find are reading other people's papers and seeing how my peers have annotated and corrected their papers and compare it with my thoughts and comments. It was interesting to read about my peers work at I could relate to them and their topics of interest. Several of my peers have used examples that have demonstrated my ideas which helped me to relate and compare writing styles.
