GMO Foods- Blog 5

For my position paper I am considering writing on genetically modified foods also known as genetically modified organisms, possibly more specifically the labeling of these foods as such. I am choosing this topic because I was surprised at how much I didn't know about genetically modified foods and the abundance of them in a lot of things we eat on a daily basis before a class I took last semester. I am unsure as to whether or not I am for or against the production of GMOs but I do know that I strongly believe people should be informed of what they are eating. Just the term "Genetically Modified Foods" doesn't sound like something the general population would want to be eating, but in the U.S. there are no laws that require labeling of foods as such.
