Academically I can’t say that I’ve found anything too ground breaking. I’m going into my fourth year as a Civil Engineering major and I’ve avoided taking English as long as I could. I feel fortunate to have ended up in this class because of the freedom in topic choices. Being able to write about the hangover, then healthcare, then the BCS system and now drug legalization. This course has made me dread writing less and taught me how to enjoy writing about a topic that I like. I don’t have any complaints about the course. You have laid everything out very clearly, gave us a couple extra days last weekend and a day this weekend, which has a big help in getting assignments completed on time. The only thing I would change is having the assignment due dates be Sunday and instead of Saturday, because I work 40 hours a week so my weekend time is when I Get most of the assignments done.
