For an English class, I really don't feel like I've learned a whole lot of English. However the really great thing about this course is the research I've been able to do on topics that I really am passionate about. This course has a lot of freedom to write about things that matter to us as individuals. I think my favorite paper so far has been the position paper. I research and write convincingly about the controversial topic of medicating children. I think writing to the rubric really forced me to research this topic very thoroughly. It was pretty difficult to write a paper that long on only one topic, but the rubric forced very thorough and developed research. I think this will really help me in writing scientific papers in my future nursing career.
